As a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code every donation makes an impact. Your financial support goes directly to the care of the residents of Haven on Garland.
Would you consider giving monthly? Here’s some examples of what you could give for each month:
$50 covers a monthly bus pass for one student, $200 for all.
$100 covers one month of utilities for the students’ living space.
$150 covers living, clothing and personal expenses for one student for a month, $600 for all.
$250 covers food costs for one student (food at the university as well as food at home), $1,000 for all.
$400 covers monthly rent for one student living at our adjacent Haven on Garland house, $800 for both students
$7,500 covers the tuition needs for the three students who have financial scholarship gaps, for one semester, $15,000 for the year.
All contributions, we’re talking 100%, goes towards supporting the livelihood of these amazing women by ensuring that they have adequate food, on and off campus, that adheres to their religious diet, health care expenses not covered by their student insurance, student class fees and tuition fees not covered through scholarships, bus transportation, clothing for all of Virginia’s four seasons, utilities expense of their apartments, and personal items.
